  • There will be an initial intake session which will focus on understanding your concerns as well as setting goals for therapy. Therapy involves exploring your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to gain insights. You will learn coping strategies to help you grow. When you've achieved your goals, therapy concludes with a plan for maintaining your progress.

  • Therapy may be right for you if you are feeling stuck, disconnected, or experiencing persistent issues. You also may be seeking self discovery or nonjudgmental outside support.

  • The length of therapy really depends on your goals. Therapy can generally range anywhere from a few weeks, such as solution focused brief therapy, to more long term goals of self actualization and self discovery lasting months to years.  Ultimately, the duration of therapy is tailored to your individual progress and goals.

  • Therapy sessions are confidential. Information shared in therapy is legally protected and not disclosed to others without your permission, except in specific circumstances required by law (such as if there's risk of harm to yourself or others).

  • At Foundations Counseling Center we offer a range of services. Standard 50 minute sessions cost $140. Groups and classes can range in cost depending on programming and will be disclosed during the intake process. 

  • We believe that everyone deserves access to high quality health care. Currently we accept United Healthcare, Cigna, Aetna, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.

  • Please let us know what insurance you would like to utilize and we are happy to research what it would look like for our providers to be paneled with them. In the meantime we are happy to provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your insurance.

  • As of September 1, 2025 in accordance with House Bill 4224, Section 181.105 of the Health and Safety Code:
